Bonnie St. Claire: Dokter Bernhard

Well, I wanted to use the ewwwwww rating at least once. Bonnie St. Claire (from Rozenburg) had nine top40 hits in the 70s, originally with sing-a-long English songs of the light rock variety. In 1976 she switched to Dutch songs, starting with the tearjerker Dokter Bernhard, in which she was vocally assisted by the TV personality Ron Brandsteder. An awful song, but don't argue with success as they say.

Year: 1976
